Working Leads to Violence

Working in general can result in suppressed rage that ultimately manifests into physical violence. This is especially true when interacting or dealing with people in Midtown. The latest example is a Sephora employee who bludgeoned a woman in the street with a Powerade bottle.

“Customerfacing” can lead to such things, after all. Whether the woman had been provoked for the last time that day or she was genuinely upset by something the person she hit did is irrelevant. What’s important is that working in Midtown wears on your patience to the point where you reach a threshold that transforms into brutality. What does this tell us? Gandhi and Mother Teresa wouldn’t want us to work in an office, or in a Sephora.
