People Who Dress Up For Halloween in an Office Setting

The type of person who dresses up for Halloween in an office setting is very distinct. It’s usually either a man trying to get the attention of one of the few women in the building who don’t look like a troll or a woman who was either on the drill team in high school and is probably working for the HR department now.

To dress up for Halloween at work is to say, “I care” and “Please validate me.” These are two sentiments that automatically put you in the working “game.” Participating in this game by wearing a costume is not a good way to start off, or win it. But it is a fantastic method for being the person everyone assumes is secretly sitting alone at home watching scary movie TV marathons in the dark while stuffing one’s face with candy more excitedly than one does during the lunch break.
