While You Were in Your Cubicle…

…an entire energy-packed existence was transpiring outside of it. Life-changing events occurred, weather patterns shifted and world-altering master plans were crafted. But you missed it all. Because you were confined to your box.

And sure, the box provides you with a computer that keeps you updated about various world events, but it’s just not quite the same as actually experiencing the tangibility of engaging with the surroundings and stimuli that are outside the walls that hold you inside so that you might “earn” your wage. Because to earn means to suffer–to miss out and deprive yourself of real life (i.e. the fun and carefreeness that comes with having no responsibility)–even though we’re led to believe this is a decidedly 1946 mentality. But then, working in a cubicle is part of a mid-twentieth century mindset that, for some reason, no one is willing to abolish.
