When The Elevator Boxes You Out Because You Leave Work At the Same Time As Everyone Else

The primary drawback to leaving work at the same time as everyone else as opposed to just sneaking out early or becoming a Midtown cliche who stays late is that you are subjected to the torments of a crowded elevator.

Not only does a burgeoning elevator mean that you will have to jam up against people you work with who tend to wear terrible perfume by Michael Kors, but it also means you will get boxed out of the elevator at least two times before actually being able to catch one that will be able to fit you.

And then, that third time you think you’re just about to make it inside, the elevator will decide it’s still not your time to go as your fellow co-workers stand there gawking at your desperation before the doors close again.
