There’s A Reason Limos Only Exist In Times Square

Limos are one of those entities you associate with the decadence and impracticality of the 1980s and early 1990s (see: Home Alone 2: Lost in New York). And yet, somehow, they still manage to thrive in the following settings: Midwestern proms and Times Square.

Why is this, you might wonder? Possibly because most of the people in Times Square are from the Midwest and want to experience it by pulling out “all the stops.” But more than that, it’s because the Midtown/Times Square vicinity is one of the few places where you can be as much of a tool as you want without anyone questioning or judging it.
