Je Fais Du Buisness

There’s a lot of things one can try to make what they do sound important. They can tell people how much they make, they can extend the number of words present in the title of their job or they can dress in clothes that are worth more than they can afford.

However, what few office workers have seemed to learn is that whenever one puts a French spin on sentences, it automatically carries more weight and sophistication to simpletons in the corporate world (as well as outside of it). Thus, all you really ever have to say to someone in order to augment the significance of what you do is: “Je fais du business.” It’s just fake enough to sound real, and everyone will be so impressed with your international level.
