It’s pretty well-known at this point that writing is just about the least valued profession in existence, apart from, say, the convicts who pick up trash on the side of the road. In fact, those convicts might have it better because they get way more exposure to Vitamin D than your average scribe.
Be that as it may, it’s still just a hair demoralizing/discouraging to note that many a dog walking job is listed under the writing section of Craig’s List, as though those posting them there get a sadistic pleasure out of reminding writers that their attempt at finding paid work in this field is utterly hopeless. So yeah, I clicked on the dog walking link after this revelation.
