You’ll Never Be Tan

Office workers have to deal with a lot of grueling physical challenges. But one of the worst ones is a complete inability to secure a tan–no matter what the season. While winter is the only “acceptable” time to sport your level of paste in front of co-workers and subway gropers, your poverty becomes apparent to others in the spring and summer months based on your inability to vacation and therefore get your skin appropriately scalded.

Ironically, back in the day, when you were pale, people could tell you were rich as it meant you didn’t have to work on the land all day–but my, how the tables have turned. Now, the more pallid you are the more overt it is that you’re never able to afford seeing the sunshine or a tanning bed.
