Walking Into Work With Your Bed Attached

There is nothing more soothing, more enjoyable in this life than lying in your bed either sleeping or contemplating the state of human ruination. It doesn’t matter the season or the weather, one’s bed is always there as a convenient, affordable comfort that protects and shields from the horrors of the outside world. Particularly those housed by the cube.

This is precisely why employers should allow their office worker monkeys the courtesy of keeping their beds attached to their back when they walk in every day (or at least on Mondays, when life is more challenging than other parts of the week). Granted, the financial burden of having to expand doorways, elevators and the size of the cubes themselves would be great. But it would be even greater to allow employees the one quite literal security blanket they need to function outside the confines of their bed.
