It’s hard to believe that Jeb Bush, the man who rigged the 2000 election (yes, it’s true and yes, I’m aware conspiracy theorists are the first to die), could possibly lower his cachet further in the eyes of the American public, or at least those members of it still in possession of a brain.
And yet this is just what he’s done by saying that Americans need to work longer hours to increase their productivity and get the country back on track (whatever that means). This 19th century mentality (Jeb’s not even good enough for 20th century politics or business practices), is exactly why American productivity is so laughable. The longer one works, the more he pretends to work. Don’t you fucking get it?
