Those Who Go to Midtown on the Weekend

For most, lingering in Midtown past the requisite hours from Monday to Friday should be unheard of. However, thanks to the district trying to make itself more “millennial,” there are now numerous alleged temptations designed to draw in the non-tourist ilk on weekends.

One of the latest, an indoor food hall (a trough for people, really), promises to serve brunch on Saturday and Sunday to those masochistic enough to either 1) live in the area or 2) commute to it. Now, regardless of how “superb” the fare might be, there isn’t much of an excuse for someone to sacrifice their weekend to an area that takes every shred of energy from them during the week. Unless, of course, he’s trying to create positive associations with the neighborhood–an impossible feat, however, if you work there.
