The obscene wealth that flocks to Midtown persists with the creation of a Richard Branson-created hotel called, what else, The Virgin Hotel. Likely to have the same lighting found in Branson’s planes, one expects the establishment to be a non-stop trolling and business hub for the over thirty set.
Unfortunately, a falling construction drill doesn’t bode well for the office workers that must continue to work in a world where businessmen of Branson’s ilk merely play. It’s almost a shame it didn’t land on one of the more middling employees of the many jank neighboring offices to spare at least one person from having to continue to delude themselves that working will ever lead them to the tax bracket it takes to enjoy Branson’s offerings.
