It’s a known fact that when you’re at the office, you’re largely just pretending to do work because it’s the American philosophy to believe that the more time spent on doing something, the higher quality it will have. But, of course, history and American products have taught us otherwise.
That’s why we should all take a cue from the work ethic of Ilana Wexler (Ilana Glazer) from Broad City and happily accept a temp job while we’re already at work and no one can tell if we’re dead or alive anyway as we’re all just sitting there barely propping ourselves up on thoughts of the next paycheck. So why not profit a bit from all that extra time sleeping with your eyes open at your desk? Sure, Ilana may have been found out in the end, but surely you possess more subtlety than she/you wouldn’t also take another temp job after taking on a temp job. It’s too much and too meta.
