“Omnichannel” = “Let’s Combine A Bunch of Shit”

Just when you thought that the arsenal of meaningless/intergalactic-sounding corporate terms couldn’t possibly be built upon, the twenty-first century came along and brought us the word “omnichannel,” which just means let’s combine a bunch of shit so that people can buy things via every medium.

Consumption is key to any company making money, thus, the ability for a person to make purchases on their phone, on their beeper, on their computer, on their butt crack–wherever–is of the utmost importance. Which is, of course, telling of how much harder it is now to sell the masses things they don’t need.
