Let Me Eat Cake

The entire psychology behind corporate life is based heavily on a steady of diet of denial and suppression. Office workers are given, for all intents and purposes, a loaf of stale bread and contaminated water to sustain themselves.

Rather than getting that sweet piece of cake that the fat cats have managed to get thanks to the work of the hard labor, the office worker is diverted, told to be contented with his station. But how long can this be expected of the dreamless and downtrodden. Eventually, we’re going to say, “Let me eat cake.” It’s what Marie Antoinette would’ve wanted if she was CEO of a company.
