Incongruous Vehicles: The Upside of Midtown

There are few upsides to Midtown. In fact, you could count them on one hand. One of said upsides is the joy of spotting a vehicle with a business name like Reem, a plumbing outfit of all things (so appropriate it’s liable to make one’s synapses burst). And that’s just one of the places that actually identifies itself. For the most part, you’ll see cars with nonsensical letters scrawled across it with the address, but no indication of what the business actually is.

Unclear.
Unclear.

Considering the amount of construction that goes on in Midtown, it’s possible that some of these unclassifiable vans are somehow related to offering a service to one of these sites. But then, it’s also equally likely that they’re fronts for the seedy underbelly of Times Square. Who can say? All I know is, seeing the absurdity of these names is a small ray of light in an especially dark corner of New York City.
