As the #FreeKesha fervor continues to intensify, the outcry of a public deriding, “Sony Supports Rape” can be quite an advantage to the enterprising office worker looking for a way to get out of a work in a manner that also shows he or she (but probably she) cares about causes.
While, yes, the “official” protest against Sony took place on Friday, you can keep the support for Kesha—and your mental sanity as a result of being out of the office and in the fresh air—going by telling your boss you’ve organized your own demonstration this week. Of course, there’s no need to tell your master that it’s a demonstration of one and that it will most likely involve walking past the Sony office with your middle finger up on your way to the movie.
