Every Day Is Groundhog Day When You Work In An Office

The classic/surreal/eerie 1993 movie, Groundhog Day, finds weatherman Phil Connors (Bill Murray) trapped in a time loop after going to a small Pennsylvania town to deliver the report on Groundhog Day. When Phil realizes that the same day is doomed to repeat itself no matter what he seems to do, he begins to start lashing out in depressive ways (e.g. killing himself and the groundhog).

When you work in an office, life is pretty much just like Groundhog Day. You take the same train route, hear the same panhandler tell their sob story or the same religious zealot preach at you and you sit at your desk and do the same tasks. Everything is exactly the same every day. And, unlike Phil, making the most of it by engaging in self-improvement will not eventually get you out of the time loop.
