Career Options Based On Your Experience

In your endless quest for growth, a sense of finding meaning in this thing called “taking care of yourself” (at least financially), it’s only natural to attempt to seek “better” employment after a certain period spent holding the same damn position in a dead end job designed to be a jumping off point to another non-entry level situation. But just like thinking you’re going to get something at the end of the rainbow, there’s little in the way of a pot of gold to be found after your seemingly endless journey.

This revelation comes upon poring over the often scant list of “matches” for your qualifications that will ultimately want to make you simply scream, “I…am…job.” So it is that the days, weeks and months will fly by with no avail in your hunt for some form of alternate compensation. You might luck out with a request for an interview here and there, but they will all be questionable, and you will be left wondering if you should merely surrender to the fact that this is your permanent existence, that which a pre-programmed robot could perform with far more gusto. Like perusing through the aisles of a New York City supermarket after the announcement of an impending blizzard, the shelves of your career options are bare, for nothing worthwhile will ever match your “experience” as a shill.
